Account & Data Deletion

Last updated:

This page explains how to delete your Neonyx Idle account and its data. Neonyx Idle is developed by EKC Studios, operated by Eastern KCrew, LLC. The same process covers the web game and the Android app.

Request it in the game

Signed in to the game (web or Android app)? Open Settings > Legal and press the red Delete My Account button, then confirm. This records your request on our server; you do not need to email. We delete the account within 30 days, until then you can cancel the request on the same page, and deletion is permanent once carried out. Because the request comes from a signed-in session we do not need to verify you again, but we may contact you (by email, or in the game’s chat for a guest account) if something about the request is unclear. What is deleted and what is kept is the same as described below.

Or request it by email

  1. Email ekchelp@easternkc.com with the subject line “Delete my account”. If your account uses email sign-in, send it from that address.
  2. Tell us which account. Include your in-game display name. If you sign in with Discord, include your Discord username. If you play as a guest, include your display name and roughly when you started playing.
  3. Confirm it’s you. We may ask you to confirm a detail that only the account holder would know, such as sending a short code we give you in in-game chat. This stops someone else from deleting your account.
  4. We delete it within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it’s done. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What is deleted

  • Your save and all game data: skills, items, currency, equipment, and progress.
  • Your profile, including your display name, title, and sign-up IP address.
  • Your friends list (in both directions), every friend and faction notice you sent or received, and your dungeon clear counts.
  • Your email address, Discord link, and active sign-in sessions. The account is permanently disabled.
  • Your faction membership. If you lead a faction, leadership passes to a co-leader or the longest-serving member. If you are the only member, the faction is disbanded.

What is kept, and for how long

DataWhat happens
Trades, duels, market sales, faction history, and chat you took part inThese are also part of other players’ history, so the records stay, but your name on them is replaced with an anonymous tag.
Community Canon lore entries you submittedThe text stays in the Lore Codex, because it is part of the shared story other players read. Your name on it is replaced with an anonymous tag.
Chat messagesDeleted automatically on the normal schedule: public, faction, and direct messages within 48 hours of being sent, Territory War chat within 60 days.
Reports and moderation actionsKept as long as needed to enforce our rules and prevent repeat abuse.
Linked-account flagsDeleted automatically within 90 days.
Error reportsDeleted automatically after 30 days. Ask in your deletion email and we will delete yours sooner.
Payment and purchase recordsKept even after your account is deleted. See below.
Other records required by lawKept for as long as the law requires.

Payment records

If you bought something, we keep the record of that payment even after your account is deleted. This is the order record (what was bought, when, the amount, currency and tax, the Stripe payment reference, and the confirmations you gave at checkout; for an Android purchase, the Google Play order number and the item) and the log of what was delivered. We keep it for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes, which is a reason the law lets us keep data despite a deletion request. After deletion these records are no longer linked to your email address or name, only to the anonymous ID of the disabled account.

We intend to keep them for as long as the law requires, generally up to seven years, and then delete them. Stripe and Google keep their own payment records under their own policies (see our Privacy Policy), and we cannot delete those. Deleting your account also removes the items you bought. You are not refunded for them, except where the law gives you a right that cannot be waived. See the Refund Policy.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can ask us to delete specific data, such as error reports or a past display name, without deleting your account. Email ekchelp@easternkc.com and tell us what you want removed. We’ll delete it unless we need to keep it for a reason explained in our Privacy Policy.

Guest accounts

Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser data does not delete a guest account from our servers. It only removes your access to it. To remove the data, request deletion as described above.
